"Getting the LOVE You Want"
Workshop for Couples

...An intensive, Two-Day Workshop for married and unmarried couples to rediscover the joy and spiritual potential of being together while using their relationship for personal change and growth.

 This workshop is based on the theory of IMAGO RELATIONSHIP THERAPY described in the best-selling book "Getting the Love You Want - A Guide for Couples," by Harville Hendrix, Ph.D.

This is a two-day workshop to help you rediscover the joy of being together.  The goals of this workshop experience are:

  • To provide a conceptual understanding of committed love relationships and marriage.

  • To develop new communication skills that break destructive cycles of relating.

  • To shift couples from blame to cooperation.

  • To develop constructive ways to express anger and resolve conflict.

  • To facilitate the healing process and renew passion and pleasure in your relationship.

The unique design of this workshop is appropriate for you if… 

  • You want to enrich a good relationship that you want to keep.

  • You are beginning a relationship that you want to foster and grow.

  • You want to restore some of the passion and connection you once had.

  • You are near break-up or divorce and want to decide if the relationship can be saved.

The workshop will focus on your relationship with each other.  Except for a brief introduction, you will not share anything with the larger group unless you so choose.  You share information with your partner in a format that encourages understanding. Confidentiality and safety are maintained throughout the workshop.  The workshop format includes short lectures, written exercise, guided imagery, and live demonstrations of communication skills and processes.

Cost

    $795 per couple     

    A deposit of $400 reserves a space for you. The balance must be paid in full eight days prior to the workshop. Credit Cards are accepted with full payment. Cancellation fee: $100.00 up to eight days before the workshop, $250.00 within eight days of the workshop.  Refunds will be processed by the day after the workshop.

The workshop is held in the relaxing and comfortable environment of the Pine River Psychotherapy and Training Center at 1145 Sheridan Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30324.
